Let’s be mermaids with Misslyn

This year everything will shine. And there’s nothing better than when a company understands that. Misslyn started this year with a collection called Let’s be mermaids with products intended expecially for that. The collection has 9 products and it is colourfull, inviting and reminds me of summer. And I, after this winter, I want summer or at least anything that reminds me of it. Do you?

MY FAVOURITE BEAUTY BRUSH

Mermaids in a hairy form 😉 At first glance they weren’t looking very promising. But you know what? I LIKE THEM! Application of highlighter is so easy with this kind of brush. It has just the right shape for the job and it just glides on my cheeks. In the beginning they seemed a bit hard to me, but I quickly realised the bristles are very dense and close together but they are also incredibly soft. And the do not fall out.

PRETTY MERMAID RAINBOW HIGHLIGHTER

Rainbow highlighters are the thing for a while now. I have a few at home already and I just love this one. It is super pigmented, I get this beautiful, gentle glow with just one swipe and I can build it up for more noticeable highlighting. It is fine grinded, no big glitters, there is only sparkle on my face. It consist of 6 colours that combined give gorgeous pink-silver glow.

LET’S BE MERMAIDS STROBING POWDER

I like this one also. Another great pigmentation, again just one swipe and the shine is here. The colour here is different, it is a gold champagne beauty. A bit bigger glitters here and highlighting with it is a bit more noticeable.

MERMAZING GLOW STROBING CREAM

My least favourite of the three. I am not a fan of creamy products. I won’t say it is bad, but the other two are certanly better. It is more suitable for those that don’t want big, flashy highligh, since it is more gentle and not so greatly pigmented.

WHAT THE SHELL! VIVID COLOR LINER

There are also four liquid eyeliners in the collection. Four interesting, different colours. With a great pigentation. Two matt and two metallic. I like all three, since the colours are really special and vibrant. I will mostly use the metallic shades, I really like both, the silver (Holy Crab) and the bronze (Kiss My Bubble) one and I believe both can be a great accessorie to a bold make up look. The mattes, purple (Tini Bikini) and blue (Luna Lagoona), could be a great dash of colour for your everyday look. Application is good, I get the colour with one swipe. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the brush – it is a bit long for me, but it is still manageable and you can draw a line.
