Oriflame Contouring kit

Today I’m presenting you Oriflame Contouring Kit, which contains three compact powders, a bronzer, a highlighter, and blush. We all probably know by now that face contouring and highlighting is a very popular thing and I believe that it is way easier for many to have all of the necessary products for this in one palette.

The palette comes in a cardboard box, that is soooo hard to open, haha. I always have problems with these really thigh cardboard boxes and I usually rip them apart – the reason they are almost never on any of the pictures. The packaging itself is a harder sturdy plastic with a golden inscription and on the back, you have instructions on how to use the palette. There is also a mirror on the inside.

BRONZER

Unfortunatelly this one has the worst pigmentation of the three. It is completelly matte, light brown with an orange undertone, which doesn’t really suit me.

HIGHLIGHTER

A gorgeous, champagne coloured highlighter that glows a bit on the pink side. It gives this really natural look. It is lightly pigmented but it can be build up.

BLUSH

A coral matte blush with good pigmentation, that looks good on light skin. This one can also be easily build up.

All in all, I have to say Oriflame contouring kit is a great contouring kit for beginners or if you prefer light contouring. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who likes really heavy contouring, the colours just aren’t pigmented enough. As for me, I will use it for every day look, I think it is great for that! My favourite of the three is the highlighter, and I wish the bronzer would have a grey undertone.

As you can see on the pictures, I also received a brush, but honestly I am not a big fan of it. The first thing I noticed when I got it was that I will have to use scissors for all the bristles that stuck out of it. And for me the bristles are on the rougher site, unfortunatelly.

What do you think about this palette? Do you prefer contouring palette or single products?
